People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) held its 677th General Membership Meeting (GMM) last July 27, 2022 via Zoom. The GMM was co-presented by POWERinU Training and Coaching Philippines, Inc. and sponsored by Sprout Solutions.
During the event, POWERinU DIirector and Senior Consultant Jun Marfori gave a presentation on “Sales Organizational Transformation: Success Story Sharing”. Jun shared the success story of the Sales Transformation of Eastern Communications and how POWERinU helped them in their goal and aspiration of transitioning from doing product sales to becoming an ICT solutions provider.
After Jun’s presentation, 2022 PMAP President Ellen C. Fullido then gave the President’s report, followed by a panel discussion on “HR Business Partner in the New World of Work” which was moderated by Rhea Rosas Gaddi, Senior Consultant for Great Place to Work – ASEAN and ANZ and with panelists Loida Sagaran, MBA, PhD, Vice President for HR-Asia Pacific of Infor and Rachel Majito-Cacabelos, Vice President for Human Resources of Teleperformance Philippines.
Meanwhile, the last presentation was made by Juan M. Roy, HROD Consulting Sector Head of Nomura Research Institute Singapore Pte. Ltd., Manila Branch, on “Enabling Sustainability Culture: The New HR Mandate”, and just before the event ended, a short ceremony was held to welcome the newly regularized members and the newly accredited Fellows and Associate Fellows in People Management.
