MAYA Philippines provided POWERinU a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of its 2023 Cadetship Program through the design and delivery of the customized 2-day Coaching Skills Workshop last October 5 and 6, 2023.
POWERinU Senior Consultants and Certified Coaches, Penny Bongato and Benjie Garcia collaborated with Maya’s Learning and Development Leaders to design a workshop for peer coaching that leverages the strengths of the Coaching Skills Workshop from the Association for Talent Development (ATD) – used with permission by POWERinU), and a 1-on-1 Conversation Toolkit developed by Maya specifically for its Cadetship Program.
The workshop was highly interactive making use of numerous skills practice sessions to demonstrate the different elements of the ATD Coaching Model. Participants demonstrated their strong desire to learn through their outstanding level of engagement during the entire 2 days. Learning was further enhanced by the coaching tips generously shared by the facilitators as well as the participants who have previously served as coaches in previous batches of the cadetship program.
