POWERinU Partners with Don Bosco-One TVET Philippines for Standardized Administrative & Student Manuals

DB1TVET manual navigation briefing

POWERinU Training and Coaching Philippines is proud to have successfully partnered with Don Bosco-One TVET Philippines, Inc. (DB1TVET) in the design and development of Standardized Administrative and Student Manuals that will be used nationwide across all Don Bosco TVET centers—whether stand-alone or part of a larger institution.

This engagement was a collaborative effort between the POWERinU and DB1TVET teams. From POWERinU, the project was led by Elaine Cercado as Project Director, with Jun Marfori and Penny Bongato as Project Advisors, Trina Gonzales as Project Manager, and consultants Christian Ferrer, Jan Gabrielle Padua, and Ina Marfori-Gould.

On the DB1TVET side, Fr. Dindo S. Vitug, SDB, Executive Director, provided overall leadership for the engagement, working closely with Jhen I. Asedillas-Gopez, Deputy Director and Project Lead. They were supported by Technical Directors, ADSA (Assistant Director for Student Affairs) and OSA (Office for Student Affairs) Heads, compliance officers, and select students from the four participating TVET centers—Makati, San Jose, Mati, and Cebu.

Through months of collaboration, the teams worked hand-in-hand to ensure the manuals were clear, consistent, and adaptable to the unique needs of different TVET centers. The project culminated in the successful completion and turnover of Version 1 of the manuals last August 12, 2024, which are now ready to guide center operations and student services across the network.

POWERinU is grateful for the trust and support of DB1TVET throughout this engagement. This initiative reflects a shared commitment to strengthening operational excellence and enhancing the student experience in Don Bosco TVET centers nationwide. We look forward to continuing our partnership with DB1TVET on future initiatives that advance our common mission.
