The Coca-Cola Company Bottling Investments Group (BIG) has a wide pool of talents across functions and countries and they sought to bring all these passionate leaders and experts using the network organization model. With the tremendous support of its leaders, 1BIG, together with POWERinU Training and Coaching Philippines, held a 2-half day virtual event to launch the “1BIG HR COE Network” which included teams from 15 countries. Participants were specialists in various areas of human resources including Labor Relations, Employee Relations, Health and Safety, Future of Work, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and Internal Communications.
During the launch, the participants got to know their colleagues in the network community. They discussed their understanding, expectations and questions about the structure, roles and ways of working in the network. The HR Centers of Excellence (COE) Leads also presented the initial strategies of their areas. During the breakout sessions they were even able to get insightful feedback and amazing support from the participants. It was exciting to watch highly talented people and experts demonstrate they can do even so much more by working together as a community of experts. They identified various project workstreams so they can determine their priorities and identify their next steps, including the possible collaborations they can do with the people from the 1BIG HR COE Network.
The COE Launch was a fun, interactive and inspiring event. It is exciting to think that this is only the start of the COE Network’s journey together. Congratulations 1BIG HR COE Network Leaders and to all the Network members! Looking forward to see the 1BIG HR COE Network reach the next summit!
